As it turns out, there is loads to look forward to in 2022 – our freedom being a biggie. However, we still need a cosy couch to come back to, and great tele to keep us warm at night. The Shondaland universe has taken on this tale of extreme faking it till you make it…or rather, nicking all your friends’ money to make yourself look rich and popular, and it stars Julia Garner. Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway add some star power to the start of a start-up gone wrong. The WeWork group seemed like they were going to change the face of remote offices for ever, but the crash was almost as mighty as the egos. From zero to 47 billion and back down to earth… What a story!!
Apple TV 18 March
Amanda Seyfried heads up this story of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and how she fooled Silicon Valley. This is a woman who claimed to have made a huge medical breakthrough in blood testing, and created a billion dollar brand – oh yeah, but it was a big fat porky pie. The testing didn’t work and eventually, she got found out. Juicy – can’t wait for this one!

A young woman develops a dangerous instagram obsession with another young woman – it’s a tale as old as time. However, up and coming British writer Alice Seabright is sure to lend a new spin to this. Chloe, the target of the obsession, dies suddenly, leaving the protagonist, (Becky), feeling compelled to investigate…

Conversations with Friends
If you missed Normal People, you must have been living under a rock. Which, to be fair, we all were during the first wave… I digress. It was a huge smash hit for a reason and now the makers are back with an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s earlier novel. It looks set to be an equally huge hit, and I for one can’t wait!

Marvellous Mrs Maisel
The first three seasons of this show were a ray of sunshine – the sort of heightened history approach feels fresh and charming, but not entirely out of the realms of possibility. Rachel Brosnahan shines as the ambitious housewife-turned-comedian, trying to make her way in the male-dominated world of stand up. A delight!
